Fátima Bosch is the fourth Mexican Miss Universe

Mexico’s Fátima Bosch, the newly crowned Miss Universe 2025, is seemingly giving a semblance of Pinoy pride. Filipino netizens find her strikingly similar to Jinkee Pacquiao.

CinemaBravo, a Facebook page that covers the Philippine entertainment industry for 2.9 million followers, was among the first platforms to notice the uncanny resemblance. It shared a portrait of Jinkee with the caption “congrats.”

The ever-receptive Pinoys quickly got the message, flooding the post with “Haha” reactions and funny comments.

Content creator Niel Padilla, meanwhile, seemingly offered consolation over the Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo not winning the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe title. (Manalo placed third runner-up. Past queens were Catriona Gray in 2018, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, Margie Moran in 1973, and Gloria Diaz in 1969.

“OK LANG!!! Panalo parin tayo, mga bakla! Congrats Jinkee Pacquiao,” Niel said, tagging her official account.

Satire account Senyora, for her part, said the win of “Madam Jinkee” is “still a win for the Philippines!”

“You’ve made the Philippines and Sen. Manny proud! (Philippine flag emoji) Para sayo ang laban na ‘to!” it wrote.

Some netizens, however, took to the comments section of the real Jinkee Pacquiao‘s Facebook page to protest the Miss Universe 2025 outcome.

“May pa iyak2x kapa cooking show ka,” one user said.

Others, meanwhile, still found hilarity in the situation: “From winning Miss Universe to buying baby clothes real quick.”

Bosch is Mexico’s fourth Miss Universe, with the last one being Andrea Meza in 2020. Meza was a part of the 2025 selection committee.

Mexico shares the same number of Miss Universes as the Philippines. To date, only the United States, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico have won more Miss Universe titles than the two countries, boasting of nine, seven, and five queens, respectively.

Bosch succeeded Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, the first-ever Miss Universe of her country.
