The Asia’s Multimedia Star gears up for his highly personal anniversary fan vvent, “ARXV,” focused on fratitude and independent growth.
Alden Richards is gearing up for a milestone celebration, marking 15 years in Philippine entertainment with a fan event he calls one of the most personal projects of his career.
His ultimate fan meet, “ARXV: Moving ForwARd,” will take place on December 13, 2025, at the City of Santa Rosa Laguna Multi-Purpose Complex. Richards says the show is designed with fans at its heart—a tribute to everyone who has supported him since his beginnings in the industry.
A hands-on celebration of gratitude
During a press conference, the Sparkle Artist shared that he took an active role in shaping the entire program. “I want every detail to come from a place of gratitude. This celebration is for the people who walked with me through these 15 years,” he said.
Reflecting on his early career, Richards admitted he started out uncertain and guarded, gradually finding his footing both personally and professionally. “The younger version of myself was scared and unsure of what he wanted. I didn’t have a sense of direction then,” he recalled.
Over time, he said the challenges and opportunities he encountered helped him discover confidence and purpose. He learned to make bold decisions, trust his instincts, and use his career to uplift others.
“I was able to create opportunities not just for myself but also for people around me. That’s one of the biggest blessings of staying in this industry,” he added.
Remembering Mama Rosario and fan moments
Richards recounted poignant tales that influenced his perspective, encompassing interactions with admirers whose lives he positively impacted through his work. He recalled meeting a young woman in 2019 during a store opening in Biñan, who proudly showed him her diploma and thanked him for inspiring her to finish her studies. “Moments like that stay with you. They remind you of the ripple you leave in someone’s life,” he said.
The actor also grew emotional when speaking about his late mother, Mama Rosario, whom he credits as the foundation of his dreams. “I always wish she could witness everything happening now. Every recognition reminds me of what her sacrifices made possible,” he said.
Independent Stardom: Moving Past the Love Team
When questions turned to love teams, Richards acknowledged their deep impact on Filipino pop culture and on his career, crediting his previous onscreen partnerships for helping shape his public identity. Still, he shared that he now is keen to explore what he can achieve independently. “It depends on where you want your career to go. Right now, I want to challenge myself alone,” he noted.
On a personal level, Richards said his journey taught him that happiness is a choice, something he actively works on despite the pressures of show biz. “You go through things that shake you. But with time, you learn to navigate the hurdles and make decisions that keep you grounded,” the actor said.
Richards added that he often returns to the questions that once motivated him: “Why did you start? Who are you doing the work for?” He believes these reminders keep him steady amid the demands of fame.
Guest performers and family surprise
“ARXV: Moving ForwARd” will feature a special moment where a family member will join him onstage for a performance, which he teased as one of the most exciting parts of the event.
Confirmed guest performers include the OPM band Cup of Joe, as well as Sparkle artists Will Ashley, Bianca de Vera, and Dustin Yu.
I always wish [Mama Rosario] could witness everything happening now. Every recognition reminds me of what her sacrifices made possible.
