Those traveling toward the south gain more transit options as Ayala Malls Manila Bay opens new UV Express and modern jeepney terminals.
Commuters traveling between southern Metro Manila and Cavite can now take advantage of more direct trips as Ayala Malls Manila Bay expands the transport routes operating from its integrated terminal.
The mall recently introduced new UV Express routes bound for Las Piñas and Paliparan, alongside additional modern jeepney routes servicing Alabang via San Dionisio and Paliparan. As of writing, mall management has yet to release a fare matrix for the new routes.
All operations are scheduled daily from 5pm to 9pm, except for the Alabang route, which runs from 10am to 9pm. Trip schedules may vary depending on road and weather conditions.
The new route network
Opened in 2019, Ayala Malls Manila Bay has since grown into a key transport hub, hosting buses, UV Express units, modern jeepneys, and point-to-point transport services connecting passengers to Cavite, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, and other nearby cities.
The move comes as traffic congestion and longer travel times continue to affect workers and students commuting between Cavite and Metro Manila.
Beat the rush-hour crawl. Ayala Malls Manila Bay opens new southbound terminals for UV Express and modern jeepneys.

Using the AMMB Terminal
Check the weather. As noted in the report, schedules for UV Express and jeepneys are highly dependent on weather conditions. During the sudden thunderstorms common this May, expect longer wait times as units get stuck in localized flooding along Macapagal Blvd.
Cash is still king (for now). Unlike the EDSA Carousel or MRT-3, many of these southern UV and jeepney routes still operate on a cash basis. Always keep small denominations ready while the mall works on integrating cashless payment systems.
Use the mall advantage. If you arrive before the 5 PM UV Express window, take advantage of the mall’s amenities. Many commuters now use this time to handle groceries or errands, effectively "waiting out" the worst of the 4 PM traffic peak in an air-conditioned space.
Follow the AMMB Official Facebook page for the real-time terminal advisory. They often post if a certain route is experiencing a shortage of units due to accidents on the Coastal Road or CAVITEX.
