Former ABS-CBN reporter ties the knot after nearly eight years together; proposal took place in Hong Kong last May.

Former ABS-CBN News reporter Ryan Chua and his longtime partner, Joe-Marc Hsieh, have officially tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Bangkok in Thailand, based on photos shared by Ryan on his private Instagram account.

The couple celebrated the milestone with their families and closest loved ones, marking nearly eight years of partnership and support for one another. Ryan shared photos and videos from their special day through his Instagram account and Stories, which were seen by friends and followers with access to his profile.

The wedding came just months after Ryan proposed to Joe-Marc during a romantic trip to Hong Kong. The memorable proposal took place at a restaurant on May 31, marking another milestone in their relationship.

Announcing their engagement at the time, Ryan wrote, “He said yes! After almost eight years of living like a married couple, we figured we should probably make it official at some point.”

“I’m not a romantic by nature, but Chowee Hsieh is worth the occasional public display of cheesiness,” he added.

Joe-Marc immediately accepted the proposal before the couple celebrated the moment with a kiss and embrace, drawing cheers and applause from fellow diners who witnessed the heartfelt scene.

Now officially husband and husband, Ryan and Joe-Marc begin a new chapter together after nearly eight years of love and partnership, much of which they spent building a life in Hong Kong.
