Shop at participating stores starting June 12 to redeem free tickets to OPM Con Generations at Araneta Coliseum.

Your next grocery run could land you front-row (or at least same-room) access to your favorite OPM artists.

Happening July 11 at the Araneta Coliseum, Puregold’s OPM Con Generations will bring together a powerhouse lineup: SB19, Ben&Ben, Alamat, Flow G, Skusta Clee, SunKissed Lola, G22, KAIA, and Xonara—all in one night of pure Pinoy music energy.

But here’s the twist: you don’t need to buy a concert ticket the usual way.

Starting June 12, Puregold is rolling out its signature ticket redemption program, where Aling Puring and Perks members can score free tickets through qualified single-receipt grocery purchases at participating stores nationwide.

Yes, your grocery cart might just double as your concert pass.

“Every year, we look forward to seeing the excitement that OPM Con brings to our customers,” said Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, senior marketing manager of Puregold Price Club, Inc. “We know that OPM is more than just music for many Filipinos—it is part of our identity, woven into our memories, milestones, and everyday lives.”

Bringing friends and families closer

For Hayagan-Piedad, the experience begins well before showtime. “Through our ticket redemption program, even a regular grocery trip can become the beginning of a memorable fan journey, bringing friends and families closer to the artists, songs, and communities that mean so much to them,” she said.

The process starts with securing a queueing number for a preferred ticket tier before shopping. This number confirms availability and reserves a slot in a specific section. After completing their purchase, members can head to the redemption booth, where they must present their membership card, queueing number, and official receipt to claim their ticket.

Ticket tiers are tied to minimum single-receipt purchase amounts:

  • VIP Standing – ₱8,500
  • Patron – ₱7,000
  • Lower Box – ₱5,500
  • Upper Box – ₱4,000
  • General Admission – ₱2,500
  • Obstructed Upper Box – ₱1,500
  • Obstructed General Admission – ₱1,500

Each qualified transaction entitles a member to one ticket, with a maximum of two tickets per member for the entire redemption period. If more than two qualifying purchases are made, only the two highest-value transactions will be honored. For those aiming for VIP Standing or Patron access, cash-in transactions to a P-Wallet account may also be used as proof of purchase.

As with any high-demand event, there are guardrails in place. Tickets are strictly non-transferable and not for resale, with Puregold reserving the right to cancel tickets obtained through unauthorized channels. Minors attending must be accompanied by an adult ticketholder and present a signed waiver upon entry.

Ticket redemption will be available at select Puregold branches nationwide, including locations in Taytay, Biñan, Imus, Valenzuela, Quezon City, Manila, Parañaque, Cainta, and San Pedro. For fans outside Metro Manila—and even overseas—a limited Regional Fan Pass initiative will also be rolled out, expanding access while supplies last.

With ticket inventory expected to move quickly across all tiers, early participation is key. For fans, it’s a rare chance to trade checkout lines for concert lines—proof that sometimes, the most routine errands can lead to something worth singing about.
