With 32 LEED-certified and registered towers, Megaworld reinforces its lead in sustainable real estate as regional IT-BPM hubs pivot to eco-friendly infrastructure.
Megaworld Corp. is expanding its green office footprint with Enterprise Two in Iloilo City securing LEED Gold certification and bringing its total to 24 certified office towers across the Philippines. The milestone strengthens the company’s push toward energy-efficient developments at a time when operating costs and sustainability standards are shaping corporate location decisions.
Set inside Iloilo Business Park, the 12-storey tower offers 39,000 square meters of leasable space, with large 4,000-sqm floor plates designed to accommodate IT-BPM firms and expanding enterprises outside Metro Manila. Its design emphasizes efficiency in day-to-day operations, with features aimed at reducing energy and water consumption over the long term.
The ROI of sustainability
Inside the workplace, the experience is shaped by improved airflow systems, increased access to natural light, and integrated mobility options such as bike racks, EV charging stations, and nearby public transport links, all contributing to a work environment that companies are increasingly prioritizing in talent competition.
Enterprise Two is also only the second LEED Gold-certified office building in Western Visayas, following Enterprise One, highlighting the gradual rise of premium, sustainability-certified office stock in regional hubs.
Megaworld said the certification adds to a growing portfolio of green buildings that now spans major business districts, including Taguig, Pasig, Bacolod, and Pampanga. The company has been steadily increasing its LEED-certified developments as demand grows for office spaces that meet global sustainability benchmarks while supporting large-scale BPO and corporate operations.
Beyond environmental performance, these buildings are also becoming part of how companies evaluate long-term leasing decisions. Developers are increasingly positioning sustainability features alongside location and scale, especially as firms weigh operational resilience, employee experience, and cost efficiency in their expansion plans.
Megaworld’s “green” footprint
As of April 2026, Megaworld’s sustainable portfolio includes:
- 24 Certified Towers: 12 LEED Gold (including Worldwide Plaza and Uptown Eastgate) and 12 LEED Silver (including Alliance Global Tower).
- 8 Registered Projects: Developments in Pampanga, Bacolod, and Taguig currently awaiting final USGBC certification.
