The beloved Disney musical will bring the magic of Arendelle to The Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati, in April 2027.

The gates of Arendelle are officially opening in Manila.

Local theater powerhouse 9 Works Theatrical is bringing “Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical” to the Philippines.

As revealed in their teaser poster, the show is slated to run in April 2027 at The Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati.

While casting and exact show dates are still under wraps, the highly anticipated musical will feature the beloved music and lyrics of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, bringing the Oscar-winning animated hit to life on the local stage.

This marks another major milestone for 9 Works Theatrical at The Proscenium Theater, following a packed run of hits that includes “The Bodyguard,” “A Christmas Carol,” “Liwanag sa Dilim,” “Rent,” and “Once on This Island.”

The timing of this Manila staging couldn’t be better for the franchise’s global momentum. The world is gearing up for a massive return to the fictional kingdom, as Disney recently confirmed at the D23 Expo that “Frozen 3” is officially hitting movie theaters on Nov. 24, 2027.

With the animated threequel slated for the holidays, 9 Works Theatrical’s spring production will serve as the perfect local warm-up for fans ready to experience the ice and magic all over again.
