Solenn Heussaff explores bold new techniques in latest art show.
Actress, entrepreneur, and visual artist Solenn Heussaff is inviting art lovers into a world of texture, intuition, and discovery with her newest solo exhibition, “Into the Unseen Garden,” opening on July 2 at Provenance Art Gallery in Power Plant Mall, Makati City.
The exhibition marks another milestone in Heussaff’s evolving journey as a visual artist, showcasing a collection that pushes beyond traditional painting by embracing a wider range of materials and techniques.
According to the gallery, the new body of work sees Heussaff allowing “the process itself to guide the outcome,” resulting in deeply expressive pieces that balance spontaneity with craftsmanship.
Among the techniques featured is sgraffito, an artistic method of carving through layers of paint to reveal hidden colors and textures beneath the surface, creating works that evoke depth, memory, and history.
Heussaff also paints directly with her hands, opting for a tactile and intuitive approach that strengthens her physical connection to each canvas.
The result is a collection that feels vibrant, organic, and emotionally charged, with every mark reflecting the artist’s instinct rather than rigid planning.
Known to many for her work in television, film, and fashion, Heussaff has steadily established herself in the Philippine contemporary art scene through exhibitions that reveal a more personal and introspective side of her creativity.
“Into the Unseen Garden” continues that evolution, inviting visitors to slow down and discover new details with every viewing.
The exhibition opens on July 2 at Provenance Art Gallery, located on Level R2, South Wing of Power Plant Mall along Rockwell Drive in Makati City. The gallery encourages visitors to explore the collection, promising that each return visit offers something new waiting to be uncovered.
